At Valiant we are very passionate about concussion. Concussion is often not given the respect it requires. This can leave some people with ongoing symptoms.

  • Concussion is classified as a mild acquired brain injury. In the simplest terms, the 2 types of tissue in your brain sheer against each other during a hit the head or body, disrupting the normal chemistry/function of the brain. This causes the common symptoms of headache, fogginess, dizziness and nausea.

    They very commonly sustained during sporting activities but can absolutely happen anywhere

  • Your physio will go through a thorough history and assessment of the systems that may be effected, causing your symptoms. With this information, they can form a treatment plan with you to get you feeling better and back to what you love doing.
